在过去的两个多月里，全世界都面临着一种严重的传染性病毒爆发，即COVID-19，它导致成千上万的人受到感染并住院治疗。幸运的是，随着中国实施预防措施、动员资源和医务人员的努力，冠状病毒已被普遍遏制。在这一成功的背后，是数百万中国志愿者的不懈努力和奉献精神。他们在医疗、交通和社区预防和控制方面提供大量帮助。

我们认为，这些经验应该得到高度认可，并与190多个国家和地区分享，这些国家和地区正在努力在国家或区域一级遏制这一流行病，同时向其他国家学习。2020年年中，全球技术会议将举行，以分享如何为2030年议程重新设想志愿服务的证据、经验教训和做法，介绍包括中国在内的会员国的有力证据。因此，联合国志愿者组织中国办事处正在寻找在线志愿者，以帮助翻译和汇编有益的做法。

In the past of two more months, the whole world was faced with one of the severely infectious virus outbreaks, the COVID-19, which resulted in tens of thousands of people infected and hospitalized. Luckily, with Chinese efforts on implementation of prevention measures, mobilizing resource and medical workers, the coronavirus has been generally contained. Behind this success includes the tireless work of millions of Chinese volunteers and their dedication spirit. They are providing substantial support in medical treatment, transportation and community prevention and control.

We think these experiences should be highly recognized and shared with 190+ countries and areas which are trying to contain the pandemic at national or regional level and in the meantime, to learn from other countries. In the mid of 2020, the Global Technical Meeting will take place to share evidence, lessons learnt and practices on how volunteering can be reimagined for the 2030 Agenda. Good evidence from Member States including China will be presented. Therefore, UNV China is looking for online volunteer to help translation and compile good practices.

工作职责

联合国在线志愿者将在联合国志愿者组织中国国家协调员的主要监督下工作，并与项目协调助理密切合作。她/他将支持翻译和校对中文和英文的收集数据、文件和关于中国志愿者计划的报告，中国发生COVID-19疫情期间的行动和成功的故事。

主要报告将有15~20页，包括为COVID-19创建的志愿者项目的背景，以及背后的支持政策。报告中还将介绍志愿者的最佳做法，以供翻译。为了分享从中国学到的经验和教训，联合国在线志愿者将在翻译过程中克服文化障碍，并以中立、客观和专业的态度交付成品。

The Online UN Volunteer will serve under the primary supervision of the UNV China Country Coordinator, and work closely with the Project Coordination Assistant. She/he will support translation and proofreading in both Chinese and English for the collected data, document and a report about Chinese volunteer programme, action and successful stories that took place during the COVID-19 outbreak in China.

The main report will be 15-20 pages, including background of volunteer programs created for COVID-19, and supportive policies behind it. Volunteer best practices will also be presented in the report for translation as well. To share these experience and lessons that are learned from China, the UN online volunteer is expected to overcome cultural barrier during the translation and deliver the finished product with neutrality, objectivity and professionalism.
